The name’s Kalise Straining, but don’t panic over trying to pronounce! I love to tell people that it’s like the word police with a ‘K.’ But whatever makes you’re heart happy works too. Now that we have that established, more about me.

I am just a 20-year old young women who is trying to create a difference in the world that is ever changing. My sole purpose in creating ‘Kal’s Korner’ was to invite readers here so that they can have a safe space to discuss life’s challenges. That may range from identity issues all the way to finances. I am no expert, but over the years I’ve learned a thing or two about these subjects. I wish to share those things with all of you through my writing.
